Status: Fully Deployed

I’m starting this log with $355.11. To most of the financial world, that’s a rounding error. To me, it’s the seed of a million-dollar quest.

I am not a day trader. I am a long-term investor hunting for Global Alpha. My strategy is simple but disciplined: I find companies at their "inflection point", where narrowing losses and expanding infrastructure meet a market that hasn't caught on yet.

Why now?

A lot of the investment advice and analysis we read today are focused on the million dollar investor. The guys who care more about wealth preservation than growth. The guys who are happy with a 5% portfolio performance in a full calendar year because a little percentage growth moves their portfolio by hundreds of thousands of dollars.

For those of us who are starting small, who want double digit growth and are willing to take higher risk on emerging companies in every sector, this is your home. I want us to grow together.

This is the newsletter for the guys who don't have 7 figures but are building towards that. The retail investor who is happy to buy high growth stocks by investing a few hundred dollars per month. The 30 year old millennial who doesn't have it all figured out but is ready to dive deep and invest in the next Nvidia before the masses get in.

How I'm currently sat…

While the broader market has been choppy, my portfolio just hit a 21.63% YTD return.

The primary driver? A high-conviction position in SoundHound AI ($SOUN).

I didn't buy $SOUN because of a "hype" cycle; I bought because I saw their conversational AI becoming the invisible backbone of the customer service and automotive industries.

Last week, $SOUN jumped 20% in anticipation of their May 7th earnings report. Most investors are guessing. I am logging.

Why I have $0.13 in Buying Power

You’ll notice in my screenshot that I have almost no cash left as of today. That is intentional. I am fully deployed in five specific tickers that meet my long-term criteria. However, I’m deploying $150 into the stock market every week. Here are the tickers I’m currently buying:

  1. $SOUN (AI Software): The immediate catalyst. Earnings are Thursday.

  2. $OCC (Infrastructure): An "old school" cable company that is quietly providing the physical wiring for the AI data center boom. They narrowed losses from -$0.14 to -$0.05 last quarter.

  3. $BULL (The Platform): Webull's stock is my play on the massive rotation of retail capital back into growth stocks.

  4. $EVLV & $LCID: My "Wait and Watch" plays that I'm scaling into for the long haul.

The Road Ahead

I don’t care about tomorrow’s "noise." I care about where these companies will be in 2030. I will sell when the thesis breaks or the data changes, not when the price dips.

Coming next week (for Pro Members): I am dropping my full $SOUN Earnings Blueprint. I’ve analyzed the revenue deceleration vs. the margin expansion, I’ll show you exactly how I’m playing the May 7th report.

Welcome to the ascent. Let’s get to work.
